The Bible is written on Three levels. One level is full of wondrous stories and parables. Viewed a second way, it contains important moral teachings and historical information. But on a third and more profound level, the Bible contains esoteric knowledge that can be used to unlock the doors of consciousness. It is this level of the Bible that we will look at here. . . . . the part so shrouded in metaphor that only a few understand it.
If we wish to get in touch with the higher parts of ourselves through prayer and meditation, then we must tune ourselves in to a certain vibration. The Life Force broadcasts simultaneously on many different wavelengths, but we tune it out when we get caught up in hate, fear, jealousy, resentment and set concepts. We must come to know that the Life Force is always flowing on all levels of consciousness, and through us as well.
Jesus was a great master of the Life Force, and came to Earth in order to share his knowledge of with others. When he said, “Pray in my name” he meant, “Use my system; follow the path I have given you.”
Once we truly understand his teachings, we will see that Jesus made it very clear that the Kingdom of Heaven is not off in some distant place, but within each of us. We need not beg to enter it, but should instead be simple and direct with our prayers.
Everyone, at some time or another, feels the need to pray. What we must understand, though, is that we are praying all of the time! Our every thought, our every action is a prayer. Our everyday way of life - how we use our energy under creative law – is the true prayer without ceasing.
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Different people who pray to our Creator often have very different conceptions of what they are praying to. Man has given many names beyond counting to this Great Life force, The Holy Nam, Jehovah, Krishna, Babaji, Shiva, Tunkasila, etc.; but the particular name you choose is not important. God does not require some secret password before he will agree to hear our prayers. Use the name that feels right with you and it will be right with him.
There are some 3000 plus religious sects on the planet with over 540 denominations in the Christian Faith alone. There are numerous dead religions and eleven major active religions, not to mention the New Age beliefs which are emerging now.
As a result of this fragmented situation, there are many people caught up in fixed concepts and set beliefs about religion and God. All these different punitions lead to argument, division, and strife. Those caught up in such conflicts become unteachable in some ways because they refuse to consider any point of view other than their own.
When one is spiritually free, however, he allows others the freedom to believe as they wish. When one is secure in his/her own knowledge – knowledge gained through direct personal experience rather than second or third hand beliefs – the need to prove others wrong disappears. In fact, one who really seeks the Truth is constantly praying that his way of seeing things will change. He has no desire to stay at his current level of development. He wants to move on into higher and greater states of consciousness.
These higher levels of vibration can also help you to solve any problems that you may be having. If you are having troubles, Retreat into the closet of your mind and stop all thinking. Shut the door to the personality. Take your attention away from the outward senses and let the Divine Self flow through you.
This will bring you the answer you need – along with the courage and the know-how required to put it into action. Be thankful for the sense of Joy and Inner Peace that Guidance Brings.
We will all come to know, in time, that we cannot learn without each other. What we see in others is only a reflection of what is within us. People act as mirrors for us to see ourselves, even if what we see is only a small part of what is within us.
We never see others as they really are. Since we live in a whirl of reflection, someone else who looks at a certain person will see them differently than we do. The wise person learns to humble himself and learn from every person and situation he encounters.
Pythagoras said that the soul is a world that moves itself. What he meant is that our mission in life is to build awareness into our personal souls. We must personally experience the levels of reality beyond the physical body. We must bring the Oversoul into oneness with the personal soul. Then and only then can our Real Self know itself in full awareness.
We must experience the reality of this consciousness and not be blinded by illusion.
(Story of the lady who was a devote worshiper of Jesus)….she was worshipping an image she was creating in her own Mind. . .taught her to sit in his lap. Talk to him. She did & he told her everything she wanted to hear. Teacher made Jesus’ responses ridicioulous. Told her to walk through him . . .I can’t do that. Do it. Got her courage up and did it….do it again.
She wanted to know what was going on. “You’re walking through an image of your own mind, The Jesus you see is not real, and he is not here. You must learn to discriminate and distinguish what is real from what is imaginary.
Once when Jesus was walking on a mountain top with some of his disciples, one of them asked him about prayer. “Master? How shall we pray?”
“Like this,” Jesus replied. And he placed his hands together, palms inward, with the fingers interlaced and the thumbs crossed. Jesus always crossed one thumb over the other when he prayed. By doing so it shielded him from outside influences.
We can all experience the energy that flows through us, just as Jesus did. Just put your hands together and interlace your fingers, getting your thumbs overlap comfortably. Putting the right thumb over the left thumb flows the energy outward. Placing the left over the right creates an inward flow.
These polarities operate all the time in our everyday lives, whether we are aware of them or not. The weak take from the strong. It is dictated by law. All things strive for equilibrium and balance.
The desire for harmony and balance with the Devine self is reflected in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
What God really loved was the whirl – the never-ending swirling of all things as they spin into action, then recedes into stillness. The “Son” is not God’s male offspring, but “Sun” – the Adam Light Force.
When the bible says, God sent his son not to condemn the world but to save it, this really means that the Whirl will be saved by the Sun. The Christ – The Sun- is in everyone. When we remove the misleading concepts from our minds, we wake up to the Sun – accept Christ into our lives. (Christ comes from Christo which means light).This realization opens the door to the Divine Father within ourselves. We then become Humble and allow the Father to guide us. It is when we do this that we truly serve the Great Divine Plan.
When we commit ourselves to serving the Divine Order, we will understand the deeper meaning of Matthew 22:37: “Jesus said unto him, thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind.”
In the Bible, the word “Lord” always means “Law.” “Laws are the ruling force of this plane – Earth School. Knowledge of the laws of life makes us strong and wise. It doesn’t matter who’s’ teachings we follow: No Buddha, Zoster, Muhammad , Lao Tzu, or Jesus can live our lives for us.
God is not codependent. When skydiving, it didn’t matter how much I prayed for my ripcord to be pulled, if I didn’t do it. I would have bounced. I would not have been “saved.”
The Savior, Guru, Master Teacher, call them what you wish, teaches a way of life and gives the methods by which one can become closer to God. These are guidelines that were left behind for all those who wish to live by them. If we do this successfully, then we will eventually wake up to our teacher’s level or vibrational rate of consciousness. But of we only worship the image of the teacher – the personality- then we will get lost in the mind.
THE LORD IS MY SHEPARD, I SHALL NOT WANT.
“The Lord” is the Great Law of Life, the consciousness or ruler of each man or woman. We each qualify our consciousness by convictions of how we live. Our Lord, The Great Law of cosmic unfolding, is the same today and the same forever as we move through states of beingness. Consciousness has the life flow and wisdom to manifest itself.
The “Good Shepard,” my consciousness, tends the sheep which are my thoughts. I need not “want” for whatever I think will be given to me by the Lord (The Great Law). Even if I am weak in thoughts, the Shepard will bring to me, by my consciousness of instinct, that which I need. Our higher self is directing our little self here.
It is better not to want, but to live building needs for a more expressive life of service. Our needs will be met. It is the set purpose of the Lord (Law) my Shepard, to see to it that I shall, under the Great Law that rules this life expression, fulfill the purpose of my life. It may seem good or it may seem bad, but it must be fulfilled by the consciousness of each of us. Wants bring us down – fulfilling needs brings us up. What are some of our needs? Compassion, Tolerance, and Understanding.
HE MAKETH ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES
The great movement of consciousness is so powerful and all expressing that we find ourselves in the physical body, on the planet Earth, a green oasis. We are delighted, with great desire, to stay here as long as we can.
Isn’t this entire planet green? Our God Self makes me come to mother earth to learn to use my mind. Can you leave? Only when you are ready to leave.
These experiences, when we live in Joy, are satisfying, even when we make choices which cause pain. Planet Earth seems to be a place we do not want to leave. A “Green Pasture” is a fruitful place for things to grow. We are here to grow, to build a Living Soul. We have to lie among our own thoughts and what we build. What are we building in our own lives?
HE LEADETH ME BESIDE THE STILL WATERS
The Lord, my Shepard, The Great Law, leads me by use of the law, to become calm. We come here to get control of and learn to quiet our emotions and our minds. I may, for a time, be strong and radical, but the Law will teach me to “still the waters” (my feeling nature that flows throughout my whole being). I learn by my mistakes, and by doing good. The quiet waters are deep and can handle the storms of life easily. Where the shallow rapids of personal desire keep thrilling me and forever keep my senses turning and twisting, how nice it is to have the quiet pools of Divine Inner Peace at the command of my consciousness through my feeling the waters of the Hydrogen Adam.
The 3rd root race had no feelings or emotions. These had to be developed. They operated on the principles of and Eye for an Eye and a Tooth for a Tooth – we had to learn that if we hurt someone else, we hurt ourselves.
HE RESORETH MY SOUL
“Soul” is the perfect body, the energy field, the image and likeness of God, who created me. Really we have 2 souls, the Over soul or perfect pattern and our living soul which we are learning, growing, and building our Living Soul into the perfect vibrational pattern of the Over soul. We build our living soul each time we come to consciousness. We sit in the center of our living soul many lifetimes, working for perfection. Each lifetime the records of what we have done are recorded.
The perfect soul, Oversoul, which we labor towards, is the one that is a perfect pattern in a very high vibrational rate without consciousness. I have to take a law and learn to perform it perfectly to anchor it in my perfect soul pattern. I thus restore consciousness to the perfect pattern of what I am building. (Re-membering)
To be here with the Lord of Consciousness lets be build God-Like Integrity. Consciousness is a condition and my “Soul is resoreth” with full awareness. I am asleep no more. The shadows of ignorance fade away from the Living Soul to the Soul Perfect.
HE LEADETH ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAMES SAKE
“Righteousness” is the right use of the Great Law: The right use of self. The Shepard watches his sheep. His sheep are his thoughts. I am that Shepard. I am that Law unto myself. The “Names Sake” is the glorifying of God, the God within me, which I am.
The only fear I have is the wrong use of the Law. Good and Evil is a tree that I did live by. Now, I live by the tree of righteousness. The wolves and thieves (habit patterns) of my mind are only shadows of my ignorance. I am that which gives me life and tends my thoughts, the Shepard of myself.
YEA, THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH
I died to come here to Earth School. My “God Self ”gave up its consciousness in my Father’s home to come here and be unconscious in this physical form. This is the physical tomb in which we are encased to learn 1 law. There are a 1,000 Laws and Lessons to learn to perfect our Perfect Soul Pattern.
“Walk Through” Here we walk, on other planes we can fly by the use of the mind (Dream States). “Valley” is the physical form. It is the only place that shadows are cast. On other planes of reality, there are no shadows, it is always daylight and everything is a light unto itself.
“Shadow of Death” This life is the shadow of death. The “I Am”, The “God Self”, the “True Self”, “The Shepard.” The Self, I Am, had to give up its place in the world above, to take this place in the physical body, a tomb, a temple made without hands. This is the Great Hall of Learning – Right Here – Right Now!
I WILL FEAR NO EVIL FOR THOUGH ART WITH ME
When my consciousness is clear, there is nothing to “fear.” Even while I sleep in this world, the Lord, the Law, will protect me when I do the right thing, which is also good.
The Power is so almighty, God within me is so watchful, seeing that I am given opportunity after opportunity to restore my Soul, even when I am deep in ignorance.
The word evil spelled backwards means “Live.” We have lived before many times, and we will live again many more times to come. It doesn’t matter if you believe in reincarnation or not – your coming back anyway.
My Shepard, My God within, will help me not to fear any lifetime to come or past. All I have to do is let go and become one with him.
Remember, Fear = False, Experiences, Appearing, Real
“For Thou art with me” Wake up to know, put an end to belief and doubts. I know and know that I know, and live in that knowing.
THY ROD AND THY STAFF THEY COMFORT ME
The “rod” has always been a measurement and often spoken of as a magic wand. The rod is the measurement of understanding and knowledge. The rod is the measurement of all life times.
The rod goes down the spinal cord and the knob on the top of the rod is in the brain. It measures growth, and it keeps me straight. By my thoughts it sends impulses along the nervous system of the brain and spine so as to operate the vehicle, or body, I know use.
The “Staff” is the spine. It carries the messages to all of the parts of the Kingdom by the use of the rod. The magic of the rod can keep me healthy and happy. When I am under the influence of hate, envy, jealousy, it hurts. The spine ties up when we are out of balance. He who knows the Law gets it quick.
Together, the Rod and Staff, they comfort for without these I would not be able to make my vehicle, body, work. I could not learn and restore the Soul and full consciousness.
THOU PREPAREST A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF THINE ENEMIES
The “table” is my environment, the lifestyle that I live. In the midst of all of the world, its limitation its fears. My “enemies” are of my mind. They are:
Anger – Are you slow to anger or do you have a quick temper?
Greed – What do you hold onto and not want others to have? Spiritual Greed?
Lust – What do you lust after? Food? A Mate? Money?
Undue Attachment – Are you attached to things and just can’t let go? True Divine Love is to let a loved one to have their own space – freedom to be themselves.
Prideful Egoism-Do you believe you are always right and others are always wrong?
These enemies are sense pleasures of the EGO (Edging God Out). They are likes and dislikes of the ego. Learn to bless them and release them. By doing this, energies will have peace and harmony rather than chaos and disharmony. Damnation is a blockage of energies which does not let the Christ energy flow throughout your system.
Forgiveness is the key here:
I forgive myself.
I forgive ________________.
I ask _______________ to forgive me.
John 15:12: “This is my commandment: Ye Love one another as I have loved you.”
THOU ANOINTEST MY HEAD WITH OIL: MY CUP RUNNETH OVER
There is a gland in the head (separated by a webbing called claustrum) from which oil is produced. This oil runs down through the system and covers the nerves to form a covering like an insulation of electrical wires. This oil keeps the nervous system from short circuiting. When this oil is too thin, or there is no oil at all, we are nervous until a breakdown occurs. This oil is also necessary for the lights of the body spoken of in the Bible, the little flames that are at each of the vertebra, and the one that lights the way out of the body into the Upper Worlds.
The “Cup” is the human skull. When the skull is full of oil and “running over,” the brain sits in this oil and can function perfectly as the top of the Rod. Confidence, strength, and great joy are experienced when this is complete. When the oil has been depleted, we are weak in spirit, and energy, and full of fear, easily taken over by others.
When we turn inside and surrender to the God-within, the oil runs over and a teacher can light the lamp – thus we can go to the father vs. the father having to push through.
SURLEY, GODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME AL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE: AND I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER
When I see goodness, I am full of goodness. When I feel mercy, I act and find mercy. These become a way of life. I have found that the house of the Lord is my consciousness.
When mankind fights and fusses over beliefs filled with opinions, I see life being taxed with illness and strife. Moving from one belief to another, forgetting about life and its’ purpose, they live not in the House of the Lord, but in the desires of men.
My heart is the sum total of all of my habits, the way I have lived. I am a bundle of memories tied with a string of habits. May my habits be of goodness. The Mercy Seat is my thinking mind made free by the Will of God. I know my thoughts follow me wherever I go.
The prayer I say daily after my Gratitude Prayer is “I Will to Will Thy Will.”
This is your Destiny whether you know it or not. The pathway through the Valley of the Mind – intellect- reflects and projects, making us think we know everything. Question and you will be assured.
Many such thoughts of goodness and mercy fill the mansion in which I live under the Lord (The Law of Life), and care for me as I become a SUN of GOD, a Shepard of all that I AM and will be.
